Tons and tons and tons of stuff going on. So much. It's insane. Too much to write about here (I write it all in my other, non-public journal, which you are all welcome to have the URL to if you e-mail me)...
Lots of great music stuff happening -- did some bg work on this guy's album yesterday... very cool. His style is completely different than mine (much more country/waltzy/folky) which made it that much cooler. Suprisingly, my voice worked really well w/ his style. Our voices really complimented each other. i'll post the info on his album when it's done. I am also hopefully going to be doing more studio work and producing for other artists and all of that SOON!. Much fun.
New music is in the works, new tour dates being added to the schedule all the time, new web design / graphic / writing projects that I'm working on... It's nice to be creative again.
Our money situation sucks and many bills go unpaid for yet another month... but... we're doing what we can and I am loving being a full-time MUSICIAN, which is what I know I was put on earth to do.
Well, that and design/produce/write/etc. :)

ps: buy Michelle Branch's new album when it comes out in June cause the new songs are A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I'm going to see her 5/28, yay! (i also get a chance to hang out a bit that night w/ her or at the very least talk to her for a few minutes, so that is going to be very cool. esp. considering she and I emailed back before she became a huge star, and I have yet to actually meet her. schweet!) |
